TODD SYNDER CAFÉ
NYC
The Todd Snyder Cafe was designed in conjunction with the flagship store which we designed directly with Todd. The concept of the café was to be part café, part bar.
We would open in the morning with coffee and at 6pm, turn the space into a bar with custom cocktails created by bartenders wearing white jackets and ties…our inspiration being the Connaught Bar in London.
The mood boards for this area of the store were extensive - we studied several colour palettes but kept coming back to the same pale blue-based colour. The space has many special design features; the floor was designed by NYC based artist Zackery Tyler and executed in custom terrazzo colours which we matched to his painting that hangs in the space. James picked out the marble for the vintage table bases and together, James and Todd found vintage sourced treasures with our favourite being a perfect 1960’s chandelier while shopping in L.A. for the front seating area.
