BAL HARBOUR
MIAMI
For Todd Snyder’s Bal Harbour location, our vision was to create a space that bridges Miami’s timeless glamour with the brand’s refined, modern sensibility.
The design inspiration draws heavily from the classic hotels of South Beach — in particular, the legendary Raleigh Hotel, whose lobby embodied an effortless mix of elegance and ease. Though the Raleigh is now gone, its spirit lives on here through key material gestures: terrazzo floors that speak to coastal sophistication, rich wood tones that bring warmth and depth, and aged brass accents that add a patina of history.
To add a layer of artistry and craft, we collaborated with the Belgium-based collective Les Crafties, who created a custom fabric mural for the store. This work, translated into expansive fitting room curtains, becomes a tactile and immersive element that blurs the line between retail and gallery.
The store’s exterior draws inspiration from a very different but equally evocative source: a neighborhood pub in Notting Hill, London. Its facade, clad in deep green subway tiles, offers a distinct sense of place — a welcoming threshold that is both classic and unexpected in the context of Bal Harbour.
The result is a space where global references converge — Miami’s golden-era hospitality, European artistry, and London street charm — all curated through the Todd Snyder lens to create an experience that feels tailored, storied, and unmistakably unique.
